NOVEMBER 2025

Middle School

If we really stop and pay attention, it’s easy to see how nearly everything and everyone around us has the potential to have an effect on us. And if that’s true, then that means middle schoolers have the potential to have an effect on what is happening in their world. From family to classmates to neighbors to social media, they have influence, and what they do with that influence matters. In this three-week traditional and one-week experience series, we’ll challenge students to pay attention to the domino effect that their influence has on others and encourage that to be shaped by the effect Jesus wants us to have in the lives of others.

Week One

John 6:8-14 NLT

Jesus can use what you have to do big things.

Week Two

Acts 2:42-47 NLT

Doing big things starts with small steps.

Week Three

Luke 22:56-57 NIV, John 21:15 NIV

Jesus doesn't allow our mistakes to be the end of our story.

Week Four

Practice Week

Practicing faith together while reviewing the past three weeks.

MEMORY VERSE

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16 NIV

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

Start your kid’s day off by sharing something you have learned from them, and thank them for teaching you (whether they realized it or not).

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone answer this question: “What is an area of life that you have influence?” (You may have to help one another figure this out. Also, remember influence can be smaller than what most of us think when we hear the word.)

Drive Time

While on the go this week, ask: “Name one thing or person who has a lot of influence right now.”

Bed Time

As you pray for your kid, pray that they will use any influence they have to point others to Jesus.
