Ruth 1-2

Ruth wants to be Naomi's family, so they go to Bethlehem, where God adds Boaz to their family.

Week Two

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
Daniel 2 

Daniel needs help, so he asks his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to pray with him.

Week Three

Manna and Quail
Exodus 16

God provides manna and quail for the Israelites to eat while they are traveling through a desert.

Week Four

Elisha's Room
2 Kings 4:8-17

A woman and her husband help Elisha by making a guest room for him to stay in when he is in town.

Week Five

David Praises God
2 Samuel 6:12-15; Psalm 144:9-10

As the ark of the Lord enters the city, David praises God with dancing to the sound of trumpets.

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: "Good morning, [child's name]! Before we get up, let's thank God for our family. Thank You, God, for [name people in your family]."

Drive Time

While on the go, take turns thanking God for things. It can be anything, because we can thank God for everything!

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, I will give thanks to You with my whole heart for my family. Thank You for [name family members]."

Bath Time

Add pom-poms and a plastic bowl to bath time. Encourage your child to gather the pom-poms and put them in the bowl. As your child gathers the pom-poms, say: "In the Bible, Ruth gathered grain so she and Naomi would have food to eat. Ruth took care of Naomi because they were family."
