Week One

Adam and Eve
Genesis 1:27-28; 2:15, 19-20

Adam and Eve work and care for the garden and rule over all of the animals.  

Week Two

Baby Moses
Exodus 2:1-10 

Baby Moses' mom hides him in the reeds, along a riverbank, and he is found by Pharaoh's daughter.

Week Three

King Josiah
2 Chronicles 34

King Josiah's workers find a scroll with God's words on it, and King Josiah does what God says. 

Week Four

Abraham and Sarah
Genesis 12:1-3; 15:5-6; 18:1-14; 21:1-7

Abraham and Sarah wait a long time for a baby, and they finally have one, just like God said.

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: "Good morning, [child's name]! Guess who loves you? (listen to all the guesses) You're right! All of those people love you. And God loves you too! God loves you so, so, so much!"

Drive Time

While on the go, look for things that grow in a garden. (flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs, trees, etc.) Talk about how God had good things for Adam and Eve to do, like work and care for the garden, and God has good things for us to do too.

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, You love [child's name] so much, and You have good things for them to do. Please help [child's name] see the good things and do them."
 

Bath Time

Add toy fruits and vegetables and toy garden tools to bath time. Encourage your child to pretend they are working in a garden, while they take a bath. Talk about how working in a garden was part of God's plans for Adam and Eve.
