ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, turn the light switch on and say: "Good morning, [child's name]! God made the light!" Then cuddle your child and say: "What else did God make?" (Continue to cuddle and talk about all the things God made.)

Drive Time

While on the go, talk about things you like to do during the day and things you like to do during the night. Then talk about how God made light on day one. Then God called the light Day and the dark He called Night.

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, Thank You for making the sky, where clouds can float and birds can fly. Every time we look at how big the sky is, help us remember that You are so much bigger, because You made everything!"

Bath Time

Add lots of bubbles to bath time. Tell your child to try and separate the bubbles by pushing half to one end of the tub and half to the other end. As they separate the bubbles, talk about how God made the great, big sky to separate the water above the sky from the water below the sky.
